YOUTH BASEBALL CLINIC: A free clinic for all youth baseball coaches will be held from 7-9 p.m. Feb. 15 at Shoreline Center Auditorium. University of Washington head baseball coach Ken Knutson will talk about sportsmanship as well as fundamentals of hitting, pitching, base running and coaching. PICK-UP HOOPS: Players 18-and-up are welcome to participate in pick-up basketball games from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Shoreline/South County YMCA. Fee: $2. Information: 206-364-1700.
WEIGHT ROOM: The Spartan Gym weight room at Shoreline Center is open from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The weight room includes a variety of free weights and both cardiovascular and aerobic equipment (including treadmills, recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, etc.). Drop-in fees are $2.50 per visit for adults and $1 for youth.
