USTA REGIONAL TENNIS RALLY: The City of Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks is proud to announce a USTA Regional Tennis Rally. The rally will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Aug. 11 at the Evergreen Playfields in Mountlake Terrace (Evergreen Playfield, 224th St SW and 56th Ave., MLT, 98043).

There will be food, drinks, prizes and fun for everybody! The event is free.

Sponsored by the United States Tennis Association and the City of Mountlake Terrace.

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE FALL SOFTBALL LEAGUES: Coed and Men’s League registration ends Aug. 24. League play begins Sept. 2. 10 game season, all doubleheaders.

League days- Coed: Sunday (Recreational) and Monday (Competitive) Men’s: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for E and E-Rec, and Thursday for D. Women’s: Saturday late mornings Cost is $610 per team, and includes top 4 to playoffs, shirts and trophies for champions. Expecting 40 plus teams!

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE FALL MEN’S BASKETBALL LEAGUES: Registration ends Sept. 7, and games begin week of Sept. 15. Three divisions to choose from: A (Advanced) and B (Intermediate) played on Wednesdays; C (Recreational) played on Mondays all in Mountlake Terrace; 6 foot and under on Thursdays. Cost is $550 per team for ten games plus playoffs. HS Association officiates games. Expecting 30 plus teams!

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE FALL CO-ED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES: Registration ends Sept. 7, and matches begin Sept. 16. Two divisions to choose from: Competitive and Recreational. Six on Six, rally scoring, matches played on Tuesday evenings in Mountlake Terrace. Cost is $295 per team for ten officiated matches plus top 4 to playoffs. Expecting 14 teams!

YMCA SPORTS CAMPS: YMCA offers sports camps for youth ages 4-18. Camps this summer include soccer, football, basketball, baseball, Track &field, volleyball, cheer, and speed, agility and quickness. MEADOWDALE YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP: The Meadowdale High School youth basketball camp for grades K-9 will be July 14-17 at the high school. Session one for grades K-4 is from 8 a.m.-noon; session two for boys grade 5-9 is from 12:30-4:30 p.m; sessions three for girls grades 5-9 is from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Fee is $85 per player. BASEBALL ACADEMY: Northwest Baseball Academy is now enrolling for summer baseball camps for ages 8-13. Week long comprehensive camps run for five days for a total of 25 hours of instruction. CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT: The first annual celebrity/amateur 36-hole invitational golf tournament, Broadway-style dinner show gala and live auction will be Aug. 21-22 at the Nile Golf Course and adjoining banquet hall. The tournament is being sponsored by Non-Profit Resources partnering with International Children’s Foundation. SHARKS SUMMER DIVE TEAM: The Lynnwood Recreation Department is looking for members for its Sharks Summer Dive team. The program is for youth ages 6-18 and is from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Mondays-Thursdays, through Aug. 7.

VOLLEYBALL CAMPS: Shoreline Community College is running five volleyball camps this summer. The third camp goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 4-7 for grades 9-12 and costs $150. The fourth camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for grades 9-12 and is $150. The final camp runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 18-21 for grades 9-12 and is $130. For more information call 206-546-4746.
