CHEER DANCE SKATE PROGRAM: The Lynnwood Ice Arena will be offering a six-week cheer dance skating program starting May 15 and June 26. This new team and individual sports combines the artistry of figure skating, the power of ice hockey, the dynamics of cheerleading and the creativity of dance. Participants will learn cheer motions, skating skills and a set routine that will be performed at the end of the program. The fee for the class is $95. The arena has registration forms.

ATM CAMPS: The Archbishop Murphy High School Athletic Department is offering football and basketball camps during the month of June for youth entering grades 4-9 this fall. The football camp will be June 8-10 and the basketball camp will be June 21-25. Information: 425-385-3464.

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE HOOPS CAMP: The city of Mountlake Terrace and Mountlake Terrace High School host a basketball camp for players ages 7-15 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 23-25 in the Mountlake Terrace High School gym. Fees are: $45 for residents, $55 for non-residents (includes T-shirt). Boys coach Nalin Sood is among the instructors. Guest speakers will talk about conditioning and nutrition.

SENIOR SOFTBALL: The Edmonds Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department invites all seniors, 55 and older, to join its senior softball league. VIKINGS SEEK PLAYERS/STAFF: The Snohomish County Vikings semi-pro football team is looking to add players at all positions for the 2004 Northwest Football League season.

The team is also in need of a statistician and video crew for home and away games and a public address announcer for home games (at Edmonds Stadium).
