MOUNTLAKE TERRACE BASEBALL: MTYAA Baseball, the PONY Affiliate for South Snohomish County, has limited openings in its fall ball rec level baseball program. ALDERWOOD HOOPS: The Alderwood Hoops Club, a non-profit community-based youth basketball program, will be conducting its second annual Fall Player Development program for boys and girls in grades 4-8 in October. The emphasis is on individual skill and personal development. The dates are Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27. Instruction provided by high school level coaches. The fee is $55 for four 2-hour sessions.
The club also is forming select and club level teams for boys in grades 5-8. Tryouts will be Sept. 7-8 and 14-15. Fifth grade tryouts will be from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1-3 p.m. on Sundays.
