HI!5 RUN: The Rotary Club of Lynnwood hosts the Lynnwood Hi!5 10k and 5k run on June 3 at the Terraces at Alderwood Mall. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. with the race start at 9 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in both races at a 10:30 a.m. awards ceremony. Register online at www.lynnwoodrotary.org or www.promotionevents.com. In-person registration is available at Run 26 in Lynnwood. The course is USATF certified with chip timing. Proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County.

HOCKEY EVENT: The Seattle Junior Hockey Association hosts two free skating events for youth, ages 4-7. Times are 5:45-7 p.m. June 2 and 1:15-2:45 p.m. on Aug. 18. Helmets, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, skates and a stick will be provided. Both events are at the Lynnwood Ice Center. Information and to reserve a spot: 425-672-7744.

BASKETBALL CAMP: The Mountlake Terrace Hawks 10th annual boys and girls basketball camp will be June 9-11. Register at the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion. Camp is run by Mountlake Terrace boys coach Nalin Sood and girls coach Deidre Ducheane along with their assistants and players. Campers receive a free t-shirt and ball. FISHING DERBY: The Mountlake Terrace Fishing Derby for youth ages 5-14 will be from 7:30-11 a.m. June 2 at the Lake Ballinger boat ramp. Participants should bring their own gear. Information: 425-776-9173.

BASKETBALL TOURNEY: WTA is hosting the Luau tournament June 9-10 at Edmonds Community College and Meadowdale High School. The tournament is open to all boys and girls teams in grades 4-12. Information: 425-744-1860, e-mail: wtabball@comcast.net or www.yourwta.com.

3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNEY: Mill Creek Parks and Recreation and The Donaldson Clinic present the second annual 3-3 basketball tournament July 7 during the Mill Creek Festival. The tournament will have a hot shot competition for prizes that will be handed out by a Seattle Sonic or Storm player. Fee is $100 for adult teams and $80 for youths. Registration is under way and close June 22. The four divisions are men’s open, men’s 35 and older, women’s open and youths (grades 5/6, 7/8, 9-12). ROWING OPEN HOUSE: In conjunction with National Learn to Row Day, Sammamish Rowing Association (SRA) will host an open house from noon-3 p.m. June 9. All ages (13 and up) and abilities are welcome. SENIOR SOFTBALL: The city of Edmonds is running a Senior Softball League on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The games are played at Meadowdale Playfields in Lynnwood or Kasch Park in Everett. Game times are 10 or 11:30 a.m. Players are needed for eight team rosters. Information: Todd, 425-771-0229.
