The Edmonds Starz U16 Red won the NSA Absolute Blast Everett Invite May 31-June 1. On Saturday, the Starz beat the Richmond Islanders and Team Extreme and lost to the Delta Heat. The Starz came back strong on Sunday, beating the Bellevue Blast 13-1, Lady Starz 9-1 and the Delta Heat 4-0 in the championship game. The victory earned Edmonds the opportunity to go to the NSA Western World Series July 20 in Modesto, Calif.
