Julie Parsons made a free throw with 1:47 to play to break a tie and Onalaska added three more free throws to beat third-ranked Archbishop Murphy. The Wildcats did not score after senior Lauren Coate fouled out with three minutes to play.
Archbishop Murphy missed its last six shots.
“I feel like if we played them 10 times, we’d beat them nine,” Wildcats coach Bill Kelley said. “But this was the one. It’s frustrating.”
Freshman Lisa Coate scored 19 and Lauren Coate had 16 but the rest of the team combined for six points.
