An open house has been scheduled for public review of the Tambark Creek Community Park master plan.
The open house takes place from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Willis D. Tucker Park community room, 6705 Puget Park Drive, in Silver Firs, east of Mill Creek.
Staff from the city of Mill Creek and Snohomish County Parks, as well as site designers, will attend to help explain the planning process, park features and considerations for development.
Proposed park features include trails, open fields, wooded areas, wetlands and access to Tambark Creek.
The 40-acre Tambark Creek park site is located in the 17200 block of 35th Avenue SE, north of 180th Street SE. The site is south of the city of Mill Creek and is jointly owned by Mill Creek and Snohomish County. The county and city acquired the property in 1996 for use as a future community park.
Questions regarding the open house may be directed to Sharon Swan at 425-388-6616.
