Three Scots earn all-conference, first-team softball accolades

Three members of Shorecrest’s Class 3A state runner-up fastpitch softball team lead the crop of spring sports all-conference honorees.

Pitcher Ashley Morrison, catcher Emily Gould and University of Oregon-bound shortstop Suzie Barnes all received first-team, all-Western Conference 4A South Division honors. Shorewood catcher/designated hitter Jamie Spenard was also a first-team pick.

Shorecrest shortstop Brian Jackson and center fielder Derek DuPree, a University of Hawaii signee, were first-team, all-league baseball selections.Wesco 4A South softball
