Ken Bosman, Owner, Pilchuck Books, Everett
I grew up on a farm, and we didn’t have many books, but later I was teaching in Everett and Stanwood schools for 30 years, including running the school library the last 10 years. I’ve always been a collector, bottles first, but they’re hard to store. Then, I started collecting books in earnest in 1970. In 1995, I opened my first store on Wetmore Avenue and in 2005, opened my second one on Everett Avenue across the street from QFC. It’s nice being surrounded by books all day.
