I’m native to the area. Just out of Cascade High School, a friend needed someone to take his job with Klein Ford in Everett on Evergreen Way. I was hired to work in the auto parts department. That was 40 years ago. During that time I worked more than 31 years for Ford dealers, including Klein and Brien Motors in Everett, Cal Kinney in Arlington and Bickford Ford in Snohomish. The last 21 years I was a service manager. Now, after leaving Bickford, it’s been more than eight years that I’ve had my own business at Grand and Wall in Everett. Things are different every day, that’s what I love about it. Being downtown, we can drive customers to their work or give them a loaner vehicle while we’re working on theirs.
