I worked 20 years as an LPN for Valley General Hospital in Monroe, but I lived in Marysville. One day, the people who owned RV &Marine Supply on State Street talked about selling. My husband, Gary, owned the building, and I decided to buy the business in 1991. I wanted to be closer to home but also loved the RV business. The store caters to a fun time, leisure time environment, and I love it because I’m helping people keep their rigs on the road and enjoy a lifestyle they love.

I have 4,000 RV, truck, trailer and boat items in stock and a catalog filled with products from a distributor I work with. I even do monthly seminars from April through August on vehicle care, generators, towing and getting refrigerators ready for summer or winter. Even with gas prices up people are coming in and planning 100-mile trips instead of 400- or 500-mile trips. I love what I’m doing, the fun things in my store and the people who come in.
