Winners announced in district Math Olympiad competition

Shorecrest High School on Saturday, March 13 hosted The Shoreline Math Olympiad 2004. The competition is an annual event for grades 4-8 and is open to all elementary and middle school students in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park.

This year’s winners are:

Individual Event,

Fourth Grade

First Place: Benjamin Jin from Meridian Park, Alex Lee from Syre and Nat Mayer from The Evergreen School

Second Place: Yvonne Chan from Meridian Park Elementary School

Third Place: Skylar Shibayama and Liz Zweizig from North City Elementary School

Team Event,

Fourth Grade

First Place: Nat Mayer, Jill Rosok, Ian Mackie and Clayton Brock from The Evergreen School

Second Place: Skylar Shibayama, Jeremy Swingle and Alan Liu from North City Elementary School
