MARYSVILLE — One man was hospitalized and another arrested after a stabbing early Sunday in north Marysville.
Marysville police were called about 3:30 a.m. to the 5000 block of 139th Place NE, Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.
Neighbors reported finding a man on their front porch with blood on his face.
People at the house next door reported seeing another man jumping over their fence carrying two knives, according to police. People at that house held the second man to the ground as they called 911.

Police believe the stabbing happened at a third home across the street, Lamoureux said. On Sunday, detectives were working to get a judge’s permission to search the home.
The victim, 26, of Marysville, was taken to a local hospital with multiple stab wounds. He was expected to survive.
The suspect, 30, of Marysville, was expected to be booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree domestic violence assault.
“The suspect and victim are related, and this is not a random violent act, and there is no immediate danger to the surrounding neighborhood,” Lamoureux said Sunday. “We do not yet know what transpired before the stabbing took place and continue to investigate.”
