BOTHELL — A Mill Creek motorcyclist died Wednesday evening when he crashed into a car turning onto Highway 527, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Around 7 p.m., a Bothell woman in a red Nissan Versa was driving east on 192nd Street SE north of Bothell. The driver, 24, was preparing to turn onto northbound Highway 527, according to state patrol.
A motorcyclist was riding a Yamaha YZF-R1 south on Highway 527, troopers said. As the Nissan turned onto the highway, the motorcyclist crashed into the driver’s side of the Nissan.
The motorcyclist, 41, later identified as Ronald Lozada, was ejected. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he later died.
Authorities determined the Versa driver was not impaired by drugs or alcohol. Investigators were still determining the cause of the crash Thursday.
