RICHLAND — Police say a Richland woman carried a gun onto the grounds of Hanford High School and later used it to threaten her daughter’s former boyfriend.
The Tri-City Herald reported that the 33-year-old woman picked up her daughter Friday in the school parking lot without incident but on the way home they passed a convenience store where they saw the boy in the parking lot.
Police say the mother stopped, pointed the gun in the holster at the teen and told him not to make her use it.
She returned to her car and waited for police who arrested her for possible weapon violations.
