Mukilteo’s Deb Varner recalls her first introduction to Granite Transformations.
“My mother was shopping for granite countertops for her home and called Granite and Trend Transformations for a consultation,” Deb recalls. “She loved the product and decided on a beautiful selection for her kitchen. She heard about franchise opportunities and called Bob and me immediately. The rest, you can say, is history. Mom truly knew best.”

Today, as owners of Granite Transformations in the Cascadia region, the Varners love what they do, and have been working to expand the operation every few years.

And while the countertops are often a beautiful focal point of their transformations, other services include cabinet resurfacing and backsplashes. Even better, they handle the entire renovation – design, product selection and installation – so you don’t need to juggle multiple contractors.
As owners, the Varners are active in the operations of their company. Deb can often be found running design consultation appointments, returning phone calls, and meeting with customers in the office. Bob is always out templating people’s homes and running return appointments to ensure that every customer is thrilled with their final result.
When not at work, Deb and Bob enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, and with their adventurous spirits can often be found sailing and hiking in the Pacific Northwest and around the world.
