I agree with a recent letter regarding health care spending. This country needs a single-payer insurance like most other countries. Not socialized medicine, but socialized insurance, every citizen having the same medical coverage, eliminating silly annual open enrollments, being out of network, different co-pays, deductibles, most important, not tied to your employment.
Nothing good about losing your job and health insurance the same day. Health insurance companies have no interest in health; they are there to make money and are expensive, needless middlemen.
