Briefs: Bonefish Grill opens in Marysville

Bonefish Grill plans to hold a grand opening today for its new location at 2537 172nd St. NE in north Marysville at the new Marketplace shopping center. The restaurant is part of a Florida-based chain that includes Outback Steakhouse among its brands. The new Bonefish Grill actually shares the building with an Outback Steakhouse, which opened Dec. 7. Bonefish Grill will donate half of its revenue tonight to the Marysville Boys & Girls Club.

Coldwell Banker Bain honors three Everett brokers

Coldwell Banker Bain has announced that Five Star Professional named three of its Everett brokers as Five Star Real Estate Agents for 2016. The Everett Coldwell Banker Bainbrokers named to the 2016 list include George Colby, John Speer, and Sandy Saga. The FiveStar Real Estate Agent awards are a nationwide program focused on customer feedback andoverall satisfaction.

Marysville commissary donates $5,490 worth of food during holidays

Naval Station Everett’s Smokey Point Commissary patrons donated thousands of pounds of food, at a total value of more than $5,490, to the Everett Gospel Mission for Women and Children during the holiday season. Pre-made grocery bags were filled with stuffing,cranberries, and pumpkin pie mix, as well as basic food items. These bags were then purchased by customers for donation to the charity.

UW Bothell receives $100,000 scholarship grant from Coca-Cola Foundation

The University of Washington Bothell has received a $100,000 scholarship grant from The Coca-Cola Foundation to increase the number of students who succeed at becoming the firstin their families to graduate on time from a four-year college. The first 10 students inthe UW Bothell Coca-Cola Engaged Scholars pilot program started in fall quarter and areeach receiving $2,500 a year for four years.
