Real estate agent Rhonda Snyder has joined RE/MAX Direct Realty’s Edmonds office as the managing broker and director of operations. She brings more than 25 years’ of local real estate experience to the office as a realtor, broker-owner and title/escrow account manager. RE/MAX Direct Realty is a locally owned and operated full-service real estate brokerage.

Sound Physicians provides hospitalist service for Arlington hospital

On Aug. 31, Sound Physicians began providing hospitalist services for patients at Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, part of Skagit Regional Health. Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients, offer around-the-clock services for adult patients and work in conjunction with the patient’s primary care physician to better coordinate both in-hospital and at-home aftercare.

Bothell’s BioLife Solutions product to be used by Belgium firm

Bothell-based BioLife Solutions has announced that its clinical grade CryoStor freeze media has been embedded into the manufacturing process for HepaStem, a cell-based treatment developed by Belgium-based Promethera Biosciences. BioLife’s cell and tissue storage and shipping media are now incorporated into more than 220 pre-clinical validation and clinical trial products around the world.
