A colonial-styled arch with pillars form the covered porch of the Reed. It is a focal point for the facade of this beautiful home. Brick trim as well as an octagonal window add accents to the look and make the Reed prominent from the street.
Two long windows flank the front door. To the right of the entry is an alcove and to the left is a hallway that leads to the bedrooms. The enormous great room is surrounded in windows with a sliding glass door off the dining area.
The kitchen, in the shape a large C, is open to the great room with an eating bar facing the dining room. A corner walk-in pantry adds definition to the open room. Along the kitchen wall in the hall is a long linen closet. Opposite the linen closet is the utility room with its washer and dryer, sink and a freezer tucked back out of the way. A door opens into the two-car garage where the forced air unit and water heater are located.
Bedrooms two and three both have wall closets and windows that brighten the rooms with sunlight. The full bathroom adjacent to bedroom two has a tub and a single sink.
On the right side of the house is the master suite. It has sliding glass doors that open onto a deck that step down to the patio. The room has two long wall closets side-by-side with dual sinks opposite. Behind a pocket door is the tub, linen closet and the toilet. There is an alternate bathroom layout with the sinks on the right side and a walk-in closet on the left.
Convenient to the master suite is the den, which could be used as an office, or another bedroom.
