Beer, wine, spirits: Where to grab a drink in Snohomish County

Decant Edmonds: The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is hosting a wine, beer and cider tasting at 5 p.m. May 20 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. There will also be food and music. VIP tickets are $55 and general admission is $40. More at www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

Chuckanut Brewing tasting: Monroe’s Route 2 Taproom is hosting Bellingham’s Chuckanut Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. May 22 at the taproom, 19837 U.S. 2, Monroe.

Oakshire Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Eugene’s Oakshire Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. May 23 at the bottleshop, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Suicide prevention fundraiser at Toggle’s: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop is hosting Drink Beer, Do Good, a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention May 25 at the bottleshop, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett. One dollar from every draft beer sold will go directly to AFSP in honor of Patrick Fraley and family.

Modern Times Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Modern Times for a tasting at 5 p.m. May 30 at the bottleshop, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Snohomish Brewer’s Tap Takeover: Snohomish’s Josh’s Taps & Caps is hosting six Snohomish breweries for a Snohomish Tap Takeover from 6 to 9 p.m. May 31 at the brewery, 1800 Bickford Ave., Suite 210, Snohomish. Each brewery, Spada Farmhouse, Sound to Summit, Lost Canoe, Haywire, SnoTown and Scrappy Punk, will pour two beers each.

At Large 2 Year Anniversary: Everett’s At Large Brewing is hosting its second-year anniversary party from noon to 10 p.m. June 2 at the brewery, 2730 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. There will be new beers, the Burger Planet food truck and San Juan Cigar Co. cigars.

Three Bull Brewing tasting: Snohomish’s Collector’s Choice Sports & Entertainment Lounge is hosting Snohomish’s Three Bull Brewing for a tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. June 5 at the lounge, 215 Cypress Ave., Snohomish.

Skookum Tap Takeover: Auburn’s CRFT BEERS is hosting Arlington’s Skookum Brewery for a tap takeover from 5 to 9 p.m. June 7 at the bottleshop, 1210 Auburn Way N., Suite E, Auburn.

The Hop and Hound Anniversary Weekend: Bothell’s The Hop and Hound bottleshop and taproom is celebrating its third birthday with an Anniversary Weekend party June 8-10 at the bottleshop, 18116 101st Ave. NE, Bothell. There will be limited beers, including a special anniversary beer brewed by 5 Rights Brewing, food trucks, music and more.

7th Anniversary Chili Cook-off: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting a chili cook-off for its seventh anniversary on June 10 at the bottleshop, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Washington Brewer’s Festival: The 13th annual Washington Brewer’s Festival is June 15-17 at Marymoor Park, 6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE, Redmond. There will be nearly 100 Washington brewers pouring beer, including Snohomish County breweries At Large Brewing, Crucible Brewing, Diamond Knot Brewing, Lake Stevens Brewing, Scrappy Punk Brewing, Skookum Brewery and Sound to Summit Brewing. Elysian Brewing’s Search Party: Seattle’s Elysian Brewing is hosting its annual Search Party concert and beer festival from 2 to 10 p.m. June 30 at Seattle Center.
