Beer, wine, spirits: Where to grab a drink in Snohomish County

Historical Scottish Ales at Foggy Noggin: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing is hosting British beer historian Ron Pattinson for a historical Scottish ales beer tasting at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Tickets are $35. Space is limited.

Toggle’s celebrates first birthday: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop is hosting its first birthday celebration from noon to midnight Nov. 3 at the bottleshop, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Enjoy special beers from Crucible, Middleton and Structures.

Naked City celebrates a decade: Seattle brewery Naked City is celebrating its 10th anniversary with parties at its Greenwood and Camano Island locations. The Camano Island celebration is Nov. 3 at 848 N. Sunrise Blvd., and includes beer flights of the brewery’s 10-for-10 collaboration beers and food specials.

Beer and Cupcake Pairing at Crucible: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting Grain Artisan Bakery for a Beer and Cupcake Pairing from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at the brewery, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite D440, Everett. Advance tickets are $15 and include four 5-ounce beer tasters and mini cupcakes.

Great Divide Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Colorado’s Great Divide Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Nov. 7 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Hops on the Rock: The second annual Hops on the Rock island beer festival is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 in Eastsound on Orcas Island. There will be more than 20 local breweries from around the Sound, including Whitewall Brewing, Lazy Boy Brewing and Sumerian Brewing. General admission tickets are $25 and a food-pairing ticket is $40.

Aslan Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Bellingham’s Aslan Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Nov. 14 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Dogfish Head tasting: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop is hosting Delaware’s Dogfish Head Brewing for a tasting at 6 p.m. Nov. 14 at the taproom, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

McMenamins 2nd annual Distillers Festival: A number of local distillers, including Everett’s Bluewater Organic Distilling and Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling, will be pouring their spirits at the second annual McMenamins Distillers Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 17 at McMenamins Anderson School, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. Tickets are $35 and include 10 tasting tokens.

Temple’s 3rd anniversary and aquavit release: Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling is hosting its third anniversary party and aquavit release from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 18. There will be a food truck, San Juan Cigars, sample cocktails and spirit tastings.

Fremont Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Seattle’s Fremont Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Nov. 21 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Pelican Brewing tasting: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop is hosting Oregon’s Pelican Brewing for a tasting at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 at the taproom, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Wass-Ale at Center Public House: Gather with the folks at Center Public House, 2925 115 Ave. A, Snohomish, on the Sunday before Christmas to have a few drinks, including some mulled wine, and do some caroling around town. The event begins at 5 p.m. Dec. 23.
