Mary Daheim: The Seattle native plans to read and sign copies of her new book “Clam Wake — A Bed-and-Breakfast Mystery” at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 at University Bookstore, 15311 Main St., Mill Creek. With more than 50 mysteries in her popular Bed-and-Breakfast series, Daheim is back, this time sending innkeeper and amateur sleuth Judith McMonigle Flynn off on a housesitting-assignment-turned-murder-investigation in a beachside retirement community.
What will she and her loyal sidekick, cousin Renie, dig up along with their clams? Join a reading and signing with Daheim for chance to meet the prolific author and catch up on the latest happenings with the whip-smart and wily owner of the Hillside Manor.
Jennifer K.
