Blu is a great little guy looking for a new home. He LOVES to play ball and would do best in an adult only home. Blu is very active and would do best in a home without cats and small dogs as he may chase them. He’s smart boy who knows a ton of commands like drop, off and shake. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.
All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now.
If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
Butler is a young senior looking for an active forever home! This guy is large and very strong. He can be difficult to take on walks due to his pulling and jumping. He loves to play fetch and would make a wonderful companion. Any children in the home must be older and please keep in mind he can easily knock them over. He will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and we do not know how he will do with cats. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Don’t let Karma’s 3 legs fool you into believing she’s not active! Karma is a great dog who would do best in a household with kids 10 and up, she will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and no cats. May become protective of the household when she settles in. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Katie is a squishy pup looking for a fun, active home! She has lived with kids over 10 years old, dogs and cats. She will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and prefers male dogs over females. She knows several commands and is happy to be around people. She can be protective over her food and will need to be fed separately from the other dogs. Katie does bark when left alone and is not suited for apartment living. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Lucinda is currently in foster care. She is visually impaired so she is looking for a family that is ready to take on all the challenges that come along with that. Lucinda is a very smart cookie and is really receptive to working and learning. She is a very happy and courageous dog by nature. Lucinda is not suited for apartment living and will need a secure fenced yard. Any children in the home will need to be over 10 years old and be able to give Lucinda her space. She seems to get along with other dogs but her new home should be feline/small animal free. If you are interested in adopting Lucinda please fill out an application. He is not suited for apartment living and would like a secure fenced yard. If you are looking for two dogs check out Mack’s previous housemate Rex. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Phoebe is a super cute lady! She has a sore rear end and it is very uncomfortable for her to be touched right now. We have her on treatment and once she loses weight she should feel much better. She will need a meet and greet with any resident dog prior to adoption. We do not know how she will do with cats. We expect that once she is feeling better and loses weight she will be a much more active dog. Any children in the home must be over 13 year old and be able to respect her space. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
