A microchip can do the trick to reunite lost pets with owners.
Everett Animal Shelter is offering a free microchipping from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 1 at the shelter, 333 Smith Island Road, Everett.
Dogs and cats are welcome.
No appointment is necessary. Cats must be in carriers. Dogs must be properly leashed and collared. More at everettwa.gov/animals.
Camano Animal Shelter Association is also offering free a microchip clinic on From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 1, at the shelter, 198 Can Ku Road, Camano Island.
