Just in time for Fathers Day weekend, the Everett Makers Market is sponsoring a free family event Saturday afternoon in front of the Sno-Isle Natural Foods Cooperative at 2804 Grand Ave.
Part of the street at Grand and California will be closed off from noon to 6 p.m. June 18 to allow for the block party, which includes food, vendors featuring art and hand-made items, free activities, prizes and music from George Gell and the Emerald City Soul Club.
Look for a bubble machine, hula hoop contests, pink flamingo ring toss, fruits and veggies toss, a photo booth and face painting.
A pop-up Sidewalk Chalk Art Gallery will feature masterpieces by all ages. Pick up chalk at the @Venecia Writes booth.
