Food Fight! Vote for your fantasy Thanksgiving menu today

Sixty-four Thanksgiving dishes! Six rounds! One winner!

That’s right: We’re doing our own Fantasy Food Fight, pitting all the traditional — and some not-so-traditional — dishes against each other in a one amazing single-elimination tournament — NCAA March Madness style.

Who will make it to the Final Four? Will it be the predictable roast turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie?

It’s hard to say, but Round 1 of today’s voting — which closes at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 — is showing a few upsets already.

So far they include roast beef over leg of lamb (170-59 at last count), corn on the cob over creamed corn (132-104), Brussels sprouts over coleslaw (133-98), and scalloped potatoes over cornbread (174-60).

In the desserts region, cheesecake is beating the higher-seeded chocolate cake (171-63).

More than 250 people gave top-seeded turkey the nod, but a bizarre dozen chose, um, elk.

I’ll tell you right now, it’s going to be much harder to vote when we get closer to the Sweet Sixteen.

Gravy somehow ended up in the star-studded starches region, so we’re eventually going to have to pit it against crescent rolls, sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes.

Yes, we have to choose. We couldn’t put gravy in with desserts or veggies or main dishes, I guess, so we’ll be without gravy on our mashed potatoes in the end.

Travesty!

But we must carry on.
