Dahlia show: The 94th annual event features award-winning dahlias, sponsored by the Snohomish County Dahlia Society, 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 14, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 15, free. Floral Hall, Forest Park, 802 Mukilteo Blvd., Everett.

Dunn Gardens: A restored 1915 Olmsted-designed private garden is offering guided tours, 1 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. Saturdays, through October, closed in August. $10, $7 seniors and students, ages 12 and younger are not permitted. Reservations required; 206-362-0933, www.dunngardens.org. The gardens are about 10 miles north of downtown Seattle. Driving directions are provided once a reservation has been confirmed.

Edmonds in Bloom: A self-guided tour of award-winning private gardens, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11. 425-771-2631.
