This is just too easy.
NBC sends a press release today announcing that Lou Diamond Phillips “turns in a disturbing guest role” on the next episode of “Law &Order: SVU,” which airs at 10 p.m. Tuesday on KING-TV, Channel 5.
Why do I not think that’s the first time Phillips and “disturbing” have appeared in the same sentence?
Actually, the guy’s a great actor, but he’s endured some interesting career turns, including some appearances on movies that generally only show up late at night on Cinemax.
This “L&O:SVU” episode looks interesting, though, if not tremendously disturbing.
Phillips plays Jeremy Paul Wilson, “a sadistic pedophile and murderer,” NBC says. “Wilson … is in possession of a cache of hunting knives, has kidnapped two children and has nothing to lose.”
The “violent and emotional” showdown takes place between Wilson and detectives Fin, Benson and Stabler, and takes a dangerous turn.
