Who let the Dawgs out?
The University of Washington is letting out some of their Husky scientists this weekend so they can share their innovative work and breakthroughs with kids and families at the Pacific Science Center.
The science center and the university are teaming up during “Paws-on Science: Huskies Weekend at Pacific Science Center,” which continues today and Sunday.
Pacific Science Center will transform its galleries and exhibit halls into activity-filled spaces showcasing some of the cutting-edge research UW scientists are up to.
Guests can learn how local scientists are improving light bulbs and windows, researching whether comic books can make you healthier and help create a mini-tsunami.
“Paws-on Science: Huskies Weekend at Pacific Science Center” starts at 10 a.m. today and Sunday at Pacific Science Center, 200 Second Ave. N., Seattle. Tickets start at $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $9 for youth and $7 for kids.
