James Woods is the next guest patient as ‘ER’ tries to stop the bleeding

In its 12th season, NBC’s one-time dramatic juggernaut is the one in need of life support, and it’s turning to award-winning actor James Woods for a short-term cure.

Woods will guest on an episode that will air on Feb. 2 as a patient suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease who was also a professor of Dr. Abby Lockhart, wh is played by Maura Tierney.

(Yeah, apparently she did finish medical school!)

Anyway, if you like James Woods, check it out. If not, just keep ignoring “ER” and maybe it will finally go away.
