If you’re curious how to tell the difference between members of an orca pod, or how they can simultaneously sleep and travel, or if you want to see some impressive video footage of these migrating giants, the Northwest Stream Center has the program for you.
“Killer Whale Tales,” with guest presenter Jeff Hogan, will include whale trivia, video and some of Hogan’s photographs.
Anyone from first-graders to their grandparents can learn about orcas from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Northwest Stream Center at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett.
Tickets are $5 for Adopt-A-Stream members, $7 for nonmembers.
Registration is required. Call 425-316-8592 or go online to www.killerwhaletales.org or www.streamkeeper.org.
