The Earshot Jazz Festival kicks off today with a 7 p.m. performance by the Mountlake Terrace High School Jazz Band at Town Hall in Seattle.
The annual festival brings jazz artists from around the world to a variety of venues in and around Seattle beginning today through Nov. 6.
Highlights include performances by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, drummer Jimmy Cobb, up-and-coming pianist Julian Waterfall and Keith Jarrett.
