“Scrubs” is simply the coolest show on TV.
A couple of years ago, Turk happily gave out his his phone number on an episode, 916-CALL-TURK. When fans called the number, they either got a message from Turk, or reached a member of the cast or crew on the set of the show.
How cool is that?
Now the show is letting fans make a permanent mark on the show. On tonight’s episode, which airs at 9 p.m. on KING-TV, Channel 5, Carla will find out she’s got a baby Turk in the oven, and NBC is celebrating by starting up a contest to name the kid.
NBC says: Viewers will be able to submit their suggested baby name online until the series’ May finale. Then, one winner will be randomly chosen to have a “Scrubs” character named after him or her. Plus, 10 randomly selected runners-up will receive surprise “Scrubs” items from the show. The winner and 10 runners-up, along with the baby’s name and sex, will be announced at a later date.
