What: Spathiphyllum, commonly known as the peace lily, is one of the easiest houseplants to grow. Its glossy pointed leaves emerge first, followed by the flower. It is one of the indoor plants recognized by NASA for its air cleaning properties, and thrives in medium to low light. Native to the tropics, it needs humidity, so misting the leaves produces a healthier plant. Overwatering can kill a peace lily, so wait for the soil to dry out before watering. Fertilize once or twice a year, repot every two to three years and you will have a thriving houseplant.
Size: They can grow to 10 to 20 inches tall and wide depending upon the pot size.
