Everett student receives scholarship
Everett resident Alicia Greinke recently received a $2,000 scholarship from the Washington State Employees Credit Union.
Greinke, who attends North Seattle Community College, earned one of 28 scholarships totaling more than $49,000 that were awarded to credit union members who are pursuing a degree at a two- or four-year higher education institutions.
Recipients were chosen based on several criteria including academic record, financial need, community involvement and a written essay.
