Baby steps: Local author Shari Storm, mother of three, applies her skills as a parent in the corporate world. Storm will talk about her theories and sign her book, “Motherhood is the New MBA: Using Your Parenting Skills to Be a Better Boss” (23.99), from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds Bookshop.
Storm is an executive at a financial institution and teaches at the University of Washington Experimental College.
