Daft Punk is back. There has been plenty of buzz for a while surrounding the new Daft Punk album. Rumors began to swirl that there was going to be some big announcement or secret performance at SXSW which sadly turned into nothing. Shortly after that, Random Access Memories was announced and a short video of the single ‘Get Lucky’ ft Pharrell Willams was released at Coachella.
Following that announcement there have been many reports about the track list and guests that will be on the new album. Some of the collaborators include The Strokes’ Jullian Casablancas, Animal Collective’s Panda Bear, and of course Pharrell among many others.
The single “Get Lucky’ has now been officially released in full, and if it is any indication of how the rest of the album sounds then we are all in for a real treat. As soon as the song starts it is clear that Daft Punk and their army of musical robots are bringing disco back and it couldn’t sound better. Check it out below.
