The Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild’s fifth annual Spring Art Show will feature 250 original works by more than 60 area artists and will include work in oil, acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, photography, woodwork, glass and pottery.
Artists will be demonstrating their craft, and much of the artwork will be available for sale. Refreshments will be available and music will be provided by local musicians. Admission and parking is free.
The show is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Stanwood-Camano Community Fairgrounds, Bonnie Cole Youth Exhibit Hall, 64th Avenue NW and Pioneer Highway. For more information, go to www.stanwoodarts.com.
Nature lover: Mukilteo artist Susan Contorchick will show her work from March 23 to April 26 at Lynnwood Library Gallery, 19200 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
A printmaker, Controchick works with linocuts and intalgio. Her work is inspired by nature.
The exhibit is free.
