Seattle Repertory Theatre says it will present Carrie Fisher’s “Wishful Drinking” as part of the 2008-09 season, replacing “A Winter People.”
“Wishful Drinking” is Fisher’s personal tell-all, including playing Princess Leia in “Star Wars,” growing up with famous parents (Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds), marrying and divorcing Paul Simon and beyond.
“Wishful Drinking” will run April 2 through May 3, directed by renowned director Tony Taccone.
Season packages are on sale now and single tickets go on sale Aug. 18. Tickets are available through the Seattle Repertory Theatre box office at 877-900-9285, and online at www.seattlerep.org.
