Glacier is a very shy but sweet young man. He has had a rough start in life so is just now learning the ropes. He will excel with positive reinforcement and a home with patience. Glacier has lived with other large breed dogs but cannot be around cats or small dogs. Any children in the home should be respectful of shy dogs and able to handle him gently. Glacier is probably not house trained and is not suited for apartment living at this time. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.
Maggie is a sweet girl but in her older age seems to be a little reactive to other dogs, therefor she is looking to be the only dog in the house and you will need to be cautious when out on walks. She will need a home with no cats as we fear she might chase them. Maggie is going to need a little extra love to get her skin and coat back to looking full and luscious again. Maggie is looking for someone that is home more often than not as we think she might have a little separation anxiety. Medical: Maggie suffers from chronic ear infections, she is being treated right now and will need to be monitored closely by your vet. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
