Washington brewers are rolling out the barrels and opening their doors today for the inaugural Washington Beer Open House at more than 30 craft brewing locations around the state.
From noon to 4 p.m. you can look behind the scenes, talk to the brewers and sample the products.
A highlight of the event is the grand opening of American Brewing Co. in Edmonds, with brewer Skip Madsen, and that’s just one of five participating breweries in the Snohomish County area.
Activities will vary at the breweries, but many will include music, food, tours, brewer discussions, beer samples and growler sales, to name a few.
Participating breweries include American Brewing Co., 130 W. Dayton St., Edmonds; Diamond Knot Brewing, 621A Front St., Mukilteo; Foggy Noggin Brewing, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell; Gallagher’s Where U Brew, 180 W. Dayton St. Suite 105, Edmonds; and Scuttlebutt Brewing, 3310 Cedar St., Everett. The open house is at the brewery, not at the waterfront restaurant.
