Scratch Distillery anniversary: Edmonds’ Scratch Distillery is celebrating its one-year anniversary from 1 to 6 p.m. on July 10 at the distillery, 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds. Enjoy food, prizes, discounts and an anniversary cocktail; www.scratchdistillery.com.

Seattle International Beerfest: Enjoy hard-to-find European beers or brews from local microbreweries inspired by the motherland at the three-day Seattle International Beerfest July 8 through 10 at Seattle Center Pavilion. Besides the more than 200 beers, there will also be live music and food; www.seattlebeerfest.com.

Zoo’s Tasting Flight: Enjoy wild animals and great wines at Woodland Park Zoo’s Tasting Flight, an after-hours wine tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. July 8 at the zoo. The evening includes live music and a chance to see the zoo’s many animals. Tickets are $30 and include 10 tastings or $80 for VIP tickets, which include early entry, souvenir wine glass and complimentary buffet; www.zoo.org/wine.

PROOF Festival: The official Washington Distillers Festival, PROOF, is 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 9 at Fremont Studios in Seattle. The festival features more than 40 Washington distillers, including local distillers Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling, Snohomish’s Skip Rock Distillers, Edmonds Scratch Distilling and Arlington’s Bad Dog Distillery; proofwashington.org.

Bremerton Summer Brewfest: The sixth annual Bremerton Summer Brewfest will expand to two days — July 15 and 16 — on the waterfront this year. The brewfest features more than 30 Washington breweries, including Crucible Brewing, pouring more than 100 craft beers, live music and food. Brewers will be focusing on fruit-infused beers; washingtonbeer.com.

Scratch Distillery anniversary: Edmonds’ Scratch Distillery is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a party from 1 to 6 p.m. on July 10 at the distillery, 190 Sunset Ave. S., Edmonds. There will be special drinks on the menu, giveaways and a food truck on site; www.scratchdistillery.com.

Arlington Brew Fest: Vision For A Cure hosts the Arlington Brew Fest at 4 p.m. July 23 at Legion Memorial Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave., Arlington. Enjoy tastes of beer, wine, cider and more. There will also be food and live music. Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door, and includes five tasting tokens. Proceeds go to support Vision For A Cure, which raises awareness for Usher syndrome; www.visionforacure.com.

Rock the Boat 2: Everett Music Initiative and Scuttlebutt Brewing are collaborating on Rock the Boat 2, a music and beer festival, from 2 to 10 p.m. Aug. 13 at Boxcar Park on the Everett waterfront. Six bands will play and 10 Scuttlebutt beers will be pouring in the beer garden. There will also be lawn games and food trucks. Tickets at brownpapertickets.com.

Wizard Akvavit release party: Bluewater Distilling is holding a release party for its Wizard Akvavit, an oak barrel-aged akvavit that spent seven months in the Bering Sea aboard the crab fishing boat F/V Wizard, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the distillery’s beach bar, 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 109, Everett. Each bottle will be signed by Wizard captain Keith Colburn and Bluewater distiller John Lundin.
