Zoo’s Tasting Flight: Enjoy wild animals and great wines at Woodland Park Zoo’s Tasting Flight, an after-hours wine tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. July 8 at the zoo. The evening includes live music and a chance to see the zoo’s many animals. PROOF Festival: The official Washington Distillers Festival, PROOF, is 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 9 at Fremont Studios in Seattle. Bremerton Summer Brewfest: The sixth annual Bremerton Summer Brewfest will expand to two days — July 15 and 16 — on the waterfront this year. The brewfest features more than 30 Washington breweries, including Crucible Brewing, pouring more than 100 craft beers, live music and food. Arlington Brew Fest: Vision For A Cure hosts the Arlington Brew Fest at 4 p.m. July 23 at Legion Memorial Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave., Arlington. Enjoy tastes of beer, wine, cider and more. Rock the Boat 2: Everett Music Initiative and Scuttlebutt Brewing are collaborating on Rock the Boat 2, a music and beer festival, from 2 to 10 p.m. Aug. 13 at Boxcar Park on the Everett waterfront. Wizard Akvavit release party: Bluewater Distilling is holding a release party for its Wizard Akvavit, an oak barrel-aged akvavit that spent seven months in the Bering Sea aboard the crab fishing boat F/V Wizard, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the distillery’s beach bar, 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 109, Everett. Each bottle will be signed by Wizard captain Keith Colburn and Bluewater distiller John Lundin.
