Where to enjoy a drink this weekend and beyond

Skagit Wine and Beer Festival: Drink wines, beers and spirits from regions throughout Washington at the fourth annual Skagit Wine and Beer Festival Nov. 21 at the Best Western Plus Skagit Valley Inn &Convention Center. General admission is from 4 to 8 p.m., with VIP hour from 3 to 4 p.m. There will also be appetizers, chocolate and cheese samples. General admission tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple. The 10 Below Show: Scuttlebutt Brewing and the Everett Music Initiative will celebrate the release of Scuttlebutt’s winter ale, 10 Below, with a live music show Nov. 28 at the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, 2802 Hoyt Ave, Everett. Music will be provided by The Hollers, I Will Keep Your Ghost and a special guest. Advance tickets are $10 or $15 at the door. The show is 21-and-over. Stout Day at Middleton: Everett’s Middleton Brewing will host Stout Day on Nov. 28 at the brewery, 607 South East Everett Mall Way 27-A, Everett. Try 12 different stouts on tap, including collaborations with Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing and Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing. Here’s a tentative list of what will be pouring: Peanut butter oatmeal stout, raspberry stout, coffee stout, black licorice dry stout, brownie stout, mint/chocolate/coffee stout, oyster stout, Sriracha stout, cheesecake stout, candy cane imperial milk stout (collaboration with Whitewall Brewing), Oreo milk stout (collaboration with Sound to Summit), Mocha Death (Iron Horse Brewing) and Campfire Stout (High Water Brewing). Winter Beer Festival: More than 50 Washington breweries, including Mukilteo’s Diamond Knot Brewing, will be pouring bold and tasty winter seasonals at the Winter Beer Fest Dec. 4 and 5 at Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park, 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle. The first session is 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 4, with sessions two and three from noon to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Advance tickets are $30 and tickets at the door are $35.
