Crossover alert: “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “CSI: NY” do some mingling as Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) travels to Las Vegas to surprise his girlfriend, only to get a surprise himself: She’s missing. 10 p.m., CBS.
Thursday
It’s about time. After a long delay, the kooky campus comedy “Community” finally returns to kick off Season 4 with “Hunger Games”-style competition to determine who gets a spot in Greendale’s coveted history class. 8 p.m., NBC.
Friday
The two-hour Season 2 opener of “Touch” finds Martin (Kiefer Sutherland) and his gifted son, Jake (David Mazouz) frantically trying to help Lucy (Maria Bello) find her missing daughter before the baddies from Aster Corps do something evil. 8 p.m., Fox.
“The Job” may sound like “The Apprentice,” but it’s not. It’s a new reality series that has candidates competing for positions with prominent companies and, hopefully, lowering the unemployment rate in the process. 8 p.m., CBS.
Saturday
“The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family” is a one-hour documentary that takes viewers behind the scenes of last year’s Grammy telecast and recounts the last-minute changes made to honor Whitney Houston, who died on the eve of the show. 9 p.m., CBS.
