The Emerald Cup is a two-day expo of bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and physique championships, with health-industry vendors at the ready.
The event is April 29 and 30 at Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE 6th St., Bellevue.

Old so cool: The May Medieval Festival is noon to 5 p.m. April 30 and May 1, Camlann Medieval Village, 10320 Kelly Road NE, in Carnation. Go green: The Northwest Green Home Tour is an annual educational event, open to the public, produced by the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild. The event showcases sustainable and green new homes, remodels and energy retrofits in the greater Seattle area. The self-guided tour is April 30 and May 1. Walk, bike or carpool around the sites. Upcoming: The Sequim Irrigation Festival is May 6 through 15.
The spectacular festival has an art walk, arts and crafts, vendors, carnival, logging show, tractor pull, fun run, kids parade and grand parade.
