A group of stand-up comics and Seattle Post-Intelligencer veterans will try to find some humor in the sad fate of the paper on April Fool’s Day.
“Yes We Might” will honor the paper with comedy, bringing together several of its veterans: columnist Cathy Sorbo, political cartoonist David Horsey and music columnist Gene Stout. Comics Brad Upton and Rod Long will co-host the night with Sorbo.
The event will take place at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Comedy Underground, 109 S. Washington St., Seattle. Learn more at comedyunderground.com or by calling 206-628-0303.
Tickets are $10, and can be purchased through the venue or at ticketweb.com.
The Post-Intelligencer ceased daily print publication on March 17. It now operates as an Internet site, seattlepi.com.
