Benefit for hurricane victims: A Norwegian pancake breakfast to benefit victims of hurricanes Florence and Michael will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 2111 117th Ave. NE, Lake Stevens. Menu includes pancakes, strawberries and ham. Orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate also will be served. Admission is $6 per person. Children younger than 4 eat for free. Farm to Table: Kristoferson Farm is hosting its last dinner for the year at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at its century-old barn, 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island. Let’s Get Batty Over Healthy Halloween Treats: Need some healthy alternatives for your kiddo for Halloween? Anne Elizabeth Meinke, aka RawMama of www.mamaintheraw.com, will share her simple and healthy treats and snacks for Halloween at 6 p.m. Oct. 30 at Cafe Zippy, 1502 Rucker Ave., Everett. Meinke will demonstrate how to make her “Fudgy the Friendly Bat,” caramel apple nachos and boo-nana recipes. All recipes are gluten-free, refined sugar-free and vegan. Costumes are encouraged.
