YAKIMA — Authorities say a small plane carrying a student pilot and an instructor flipped over Thursday evening as it was landing at the Yakima Air Terminal. No serious injuries were reported.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reported that officials say the single-engine, high-wing 2008 Just Escapade was hit by a side wind as it was landing.
The two people aboard were standing by the plane when first responders reached them and reported only a few possible scrapes or bruises. They were not identified.
